For all such times, the car charger comes as a very useful device that can also make a great difference to your life.
To maintain your car battery in optimal condition, it is necessary to ensure that the electrolyte level of the battery is kept at an appropriate level; i.e. between the MIN and HIGH level markings on the battery casing. In the case of ’maintenance-free’ batteries, regular checking and topping up of electrolyte is not necessary. Besides checking the electrolyte level, the battery also requires to be recharged on a regular basis. This is especially true if the car is minimally utilised, the battery does not get to be recharged through the car’s built-in charging system. Hence, an external source, such as a portable battery charger is required.
There are a plethora of chargers for a mobile phones like a wind up charger, USB charger, in-car charger and a substitute mains charger. To help you resolve which kind of phone charger you want we have put together this simplified purchaser's guide.
